What comments I am looking for:
Please note that these comments will not be included in the
hardcopy version until the next printing.
I am looking for several main types of comments:
- General proofreading comments
- Typos.
- Incorrectly referenced illustrations (i.e., text says
image is at left when it is at right).
- General text comments
- Clarity of the text.
- Possible misunderstandings.
- Need for expansion on point.
- Redundancy.
- Illustration comments
- Typos in illustration labels.
- Clarity of labels.
- General clarity of drawings.
- Constructive suggestions for better illustration aesthetics
in the future.
- General (but constructive) content comments
- Usefulness of material for you, what you would like to
see in future.
- Suggestions for further readings and bibliography.
I am not currently looking at suggestions
for much new content for this version. However, if you do have
suggestions for more content for future versions, let me know,
and I will keep it in mind.
In terms of content, I am looking to bring together information
that is hard to find, or found in small pieces in many different
sources, or is useful to have for reference even though the original
sources are too big or expensive to have aroud. I'm not looking
to duplicate content that can be found relatively easily.
When you email your suggestions, please let me know by what name
you would like to be credited in the acknowledgements with (or
whether you would like to remain anonymous).
Notes:
The first and last pages in the PDF are the front and back covers,
respectively.
